Really a good place to be. Close to Central Station, right in the centre of Amsterdam. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent service. Room was very clean, with good facilities, excellent location and the perfect view. The service provided despite all COVID rules was above and beyond. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you and hope to come back soon.

We had been invited by our dutch clients, they had booked a big room, nice decoration, the Skylounge is a nice place and we loved going there, the staff were helpful and they helped us a lot in our organization to visit Amsterdam well, the breakfast was varied with lots of choice, very good coffee and the bread was of quality, we thank you for this small but excellent stay

We decided to spend a weekend in Amsterdam and had booked the Double Tree Hilton as a package with room, breakfast and diner included. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff at reception in a very friendly and pleasant manner. Due to Covid-19 everything is different and the reservation for the restaurant that we had made was not transferred from one restaurant to another (the restaurant that we had reserved at was closed due to Covid-19 and we were transferred to the Sky Lounge. The room, which allegedly was a superior room was a little disappointing. Despite being clean and tidy it did not gave us the impression of a superior room. The furniture did not match and gave the impression that it was put together without much thought. The bathroom was very small and had a simple shower build in. There was little room to move. Also at least one floor tile was loose and wobbly. In itself not a bad experience but not what you expect from a superior room type. The Sky Lounge was impeccable and arguably one of the best experience that we have had in a long time. We arrived late and decided to have dinner there on the first night. The service was incredible, staff were very friendly and visibly enjoyed themselves. The food was great and the service incredible, they accommodated for everything and did everything possible to make the experience memorable. Breakfast the next morning was the same experience, simply wonderful with great food. Then the surprise three course dinner that night, more of the same. Simply fantastic. Finally breakfast on the last day was again an experience to remember. Our compliments to the staff of the Sky Lounge, you made our experience this weekend one that we will remember for a long time.

I hope its not too late to post this but I just wanted to appreciate 3 of the staff members who were the stars of my previous stay. Noemie who checked me in impeccably and offered me the best of the best treatment I could have ever asked for! Daniela with her exquisite and exceptional humor and quick service in providing me all the amenities that I needed during my stay, and Manny - a very attentive bar employee at the Sky Lounge who ensured our cocktail night hang out (my best friend and I) has received the best and most attentive treatment! Well done guys! Hope to see you again soon! Stay safe! Alex

We had 3 rooms booked at this hotel for 3 nights and starting from the reception they delayed our check in for no reason, we waited so long to check in. After this I went to the rooftop bar because it was recommended by my cousins that is a good idea to have a drink and maybe something to eat , I found a guy there at the reception upstairs and I’ve made a reservation for 6 person for next day. All good until we went there and another person was there now to receive us , surprise!!! Nobody new about our table reservation ?!?!? Are you kidding me ??? That guy didn’t do the reservation for me yesterday!!!!! Ok I understand mistakes can happen but I was a guest in this hotel I was aspecting that at least they will find a solution , so we arrived at the rooftop and they told us that there is no reservation made on my name , they didn’t bother to fix the issue .....that is a problem! Not to mention that every time I would like to use the lobby toilet someone would ask me every time who I am if i stay there , come on this is ridiculous! The location is good the hotel is big but the service is not what I expected. Change the way you treat your guests! I will never stay here again !
