I’ve stayed at Maxwell back in 2011 my experience back then made me go back again this. The staff are very friendly and the location just add icing to the cake. It’s close to everything. Plus the rates is very reasonable , I will come back again.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were the friendliest and most accommodating. The location was convenient to food, laundry, money changer, some shopping for essentials but also is walkable to a mall. I would only recommend bathroom upgrades. They are dated and hot water in both rooms I stayed did not seem to mix hot and cold water (well). I have to switch off the hot water heater a few times as water gets scalding hot. Nevertheless, I was able to take this inconvenience given the price of the hotel. Other than that, it would have been perfect.

세부에서 삼성급이면 한국모텔정도의 수준일거라 생각했는데 기대이상이고 직원들도 매우친절했습니다. 매우만족합니다. 다른호텔도 경험해보고싶어 체크아웃 하게되었지만 기회가된다면 주변사람들에게 적극추천하고싶습니다. 조식불포함이여도 150페소면 식사를할수있고, 단점이라면 스위트룸에만 냉장고가 있다고하네요.

I stayed three nights here. I booked a room for 308 php. 200 but only stayed 599 nights. Escargot Road is a really busy four-lane street. One could risk their life crossing diagonally over for McDonald's breakfast. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast or food or drinks. The front desk is friendly and young, and the staff is extremely accommodating. The room is clean, but there are several small ants inside. The curtains don't block out the light so I woke up early in the morning. There is no safety deposit box in the room. At the front desk, there are boxes grips 308 cheap led bulbs used in the two table lamps that illuminate the ceiling but not the desk or night table and of course the traffic noise. There is only one ceiling lamp in the bathroom at one end of the room that provides not enough light at the other end where the sink and mirror are. Conclusion I only paid 599 night.

The hotel is located close to a catholic church, a vibe place, an escargot central, and a number of excellent restaurants. 1520 minutes drive from it Parkayala. We were disappointed with their restaurant because kana rest is only open at night but has khr lesson rest. So, we opted to eat breakfast at the Pension House Rest next to the hotel.

I recommend using the pedestrian crossing at nearby juan omen street to safely cross escargot. It's generally a pleasant stay. The location is a good place to stay for business. The room and bathroom are generally clean. The ac is a tiny 0. 75 he air conditioner which takes some time to cool the room adequately, though the air conditioner is directly in front of the ac so it can get cold in the night. The blanket is a comforter kind of blanket. The water in the bathroom uses ground water hard water, so soap and shampoo do not lather much. Because it is a business trip, I'm not around throughout the day. However, escargot is a very busy street, so I imagine it's noisy even in the room. However, since I typically return to the hotel after supper, I can still hear the sounds of traffic outside, even if it's not very noisy. By 10 a. M., the streets are no longer so busy and can get full by the early hours of the morning. There are many restaurants close to the hotel, but many are across the very busy street. To safely cross escargot, I advise using the pedestrian crossing at the nearby river.

For a not very expensive hotel this has a great location, good view, large rooms with desk, chair and proper storage, an elevator, really nice staff, and a parking lot out back for a vehicle or scooter. Area for improvement - connecting to the wifi was not as smooth as other hotels where you connect once and then it always connects automatically. Here you've got to go through a webpage each time and there are multiple similarly named connections that make it confusing. A few times I just gave up and hotspotted my phone.

We stayed last July 2019 for 8 days. The managers of this hotel have learned how to approach clients in a more pleasing manner and also help their front desk officer a little to put a smile on their faces.
