Check-in was seamless. They seat you and offer you welcome drinks. Parking is free with the options for valet or self-parking. We chose the rooms with terrace and views - this is the only way to go! The location’s amazing not to take advantage to wake up to the wonderful views. The facilities are great - i used the gym, indoor pool, sauna. There’s also an outdoor pool, good for a warm day. Shame we only stayed for 1 night, will definitely come back and stay longer.

Decidimos ficar neste hotel por ser novo e pareceu-nos ser um bom sítio para poder visitar a linda região que é o Douro. Viajámos 2 adultos e 2 crianças. As instalações são muito boas, os quartos espaçosos, com bons materiais, muito limpos e confortáveis, além de oferecer uma vista lindíssima. O pequeno-almoço supera qualquer expectativa quer pela qualidade dos produtos, como pela variedade.

Sr. António, dono do hotel, mais vez parabéns palas suas magnificas instalações. Pena, devido a essa pandemia, não termos podido usufruir das instalações em pleno nomeadamente a zona de spa. O único reparo que tenho para fazer, é o facto da piscina exterior ser demasiado pequena e com muita pouca profundidade.

We enjoyed our stay here, and they arranged a wonderful day of wine tasting and a cooking class for us. The things we did not like, though, were that the gym in the basement was very warm, and also the outdoor pool was not open, even though it was quite hot out. The breakfast was nice. There is not much to do in the immediate area, so you would want to have a car, or a driver arranged for your time there. We did not use any of the spa services. They have bikes to use, but we did not inquire about where you would take them.
