Staff could not be more helpful a special thank you to Sharkira and Sara . The Scarlet Hotel is right down the road to the MRT there are three stations Maxwell being the closest . The rail system is very easy to use and cost very little too. The Hawker food market is just across the road. Great street food at excellent prices and a good vibe. I would recommend this hotel

The Scarlet is an excellent hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished, and the free minibar was an added bonus. The staff was efficient and more than accommodating. The location is good…located right next to a Hawkers’ market…which made finding food easy. The only issue we had was that the rooftop bar (part of the reason we booked The Scarlet) was not available to us our first night due to a private function. Additionally, the hot tub is undergoing maintenance and was closed. We were not advised about the unavailability of both of these when we made the reservation. I would recommend The Scarlet as a place to stay in Singapore. The hotel layout is quirky and harkens back to days gone by.

Hôtel bien situé dans le quartier de Chinatown à 3 mn du métro et restaurants Pas de petit déjeuner sur place mais juste à coté d’excellentes viennoiseries qui sorte du four…hummm Personnel aux petits soins. C’est tellement rare qu’il faut le dire - alors que je voyage très souvent. J’ai été directement surclassée sans en faire la demande. A priori s’ils ont la disponibilité ils le font automatiquement +++ Toute la Literie et linge de lit et toilette sont neufs. Très confortable Bien que la moquette commence à dater elle est très propre. Le mini bar et les friandises sont offertes et approvisionnées tous les jours. Merci de m’avoir fait me sentir bien chez bous

A perfect little pit stop in a safe and interesting quarter. The staff we over an above kind and helpful. Loved having a balcony and a French windows to open. The room was small but just fine for a couple of nights. My sister recommend this hotel to me last year as they enjoyed and I would recommend too - if you are looking for a small friendly boutique hotel.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The extras provided to us was fabulous. Free water, free wine or beer and fresh fruit always available right in the heart of Chinatown so we could see the beautiful temples and go through their markets.

This was the best choice of the trip! The location was ideal for Chinatown and very near the bus stop, as well as as lovely breakfast spots. Checkin to leave bags was a breeze early in the AM and I returned late evening to find the bags were in my room. The free gifts in the room were numerous and incredible! A bottle of wine, refrigerator full of snacks and drinks, lovely tote bag, toothbrushes, endless bottles of water, and more. This is the most unique boutique hotel with character I have ever stayed in, but I understand renovations will begin April 2025 through the fall... hoping it keeps that old-timey feel. I travel solo and felt safe everywhere. Highly recommend room 236 at the end of the row. I read that some rooms do not have windows but this one did. Very comfortable.
