Stayed just one night. Big room and clean enough. Staff were helpful. Great value. A tiny bit away from the fun stuff but it’s all easily accessible by tuktuk or taxi.

This is a fabulous spot in Bangkok that I highly reccommend to everyone! Feels like a home away from home. Not many rooms so the staff are attentive and the service is personal. The pool offers a refreshing dip after a hot day in the city. The location is perfect - about 10 min walk to Surasak BTS or you can walk the other way to the river to catch ferries or boats. A 7-11 right on the corner and lots of food stalls pop up on the otherwise very quiet street. Beautiful hotel, do not hesitate to book here!

I spent four nights in two different room types. Cons upon entering, both rooms smelled musty. Every night between 12 and 3 am, there was noise coming from the garbage trucks outside. The service desk was semifriendly. Advantages the rooms were thoroughly cleaned, free of any dust. The rooms had plenty of natural light.

Beautiful property. Pool nice and cool in hot weather. Breakfast generous portions, and can be made vegetarian (the fried eggs are cooked perfectly). Customer service excellent. My sister reported a problem with her air con and it was fixed the same day. Can call taxis for guests to airports at reasonable price. 10min walk from BTS. Many good restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

Absolutely exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Wonderful service, delightful room and the best most comfortable bed and bedding I have slept in for over 60 years. Set in a beautiful courtyard with fish ponds and beautiful trees this hotel will not disappoint. Forget the big chains, this is the best stay I’ve ever had in any major city.

This was a beautiful hotel and a great location. It was within walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores and grocers. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. My only wishes would be next time they replace seating, to upgrade to a better quality. The quality of sofa and bench cushion really didn’t fit with the quality of the rest of the room or hotel - it was uncomfortable and something I would expect to see at a discount furniture store. Still, this was a top hotel throughout my trip to Thailand. I would absolutely stay again.

A cozy little boutique hotel in an old house. Very nice rooms, a relaxed place in the middle of all these new business buildings this hotel breathes in the old siam. Nice to sit in the garden or on the small terrace with a coffee or tea.

Baan Vajra was a delightful surprise! The hotel is refreshingly decorated with a nice-kept backyard (a rare gem in the city). The staff, especially Marcus, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available with a recommendation or a smile, making my stay truly enjoyable.The food at the hotel was delicious, authentically Thai. The coffee in the mornings was absolutely amazing, the best I tasted in the city and the perfect fuel for exploring the vibrant city of Bangkok. At the Holiday Inn hotel lobby nearby, we bought tours and other activities from their guides. Highly recommend Baan Vajra for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, in the city center, with fantastic service and delicious food.

The location is very convenient. The room is very nice, oldstyle thai, the maintenance is good, nice oasis in the middle of the city. The staff is a bit cold and uninviting.

This is such a charming little boutique hotel located within the gem district and an easy five minute walk from the river. There are fantastic dining options within a three minute radius from the hotel and, for early birds like me, a Starbuck’s coffee shop that opens at 0600 for the first cup of the day. There are also many interesting curiosity, antique, and gym shops within a ten minute walking radius of the hotel. We stayed in the Colonial Suite and it was charmingly furnished. Everything is immaculate and the staff is great! We will definitely return in the future!

Great location. Quality and cleanliness of the rooms were great! All Kohler fixtures, bed and linens were comfortable. The owner is very hands on which is nice. Very efficient and helpful though lacking the genuine warmth you would expect from an owner of the property. But overall the property is very lovely. The breakfast is fantastic. Definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

This property is well located on a quiet road within walking distance to many restaurants and street food stalls. About a 7 minute walk to BTS Surasak and 10 minute walk to Phaya river. Overall, this old mansion was soundproof with a beautiful renovated bathroom. Staff were very accommodating and would definitely stay there for future travels.
