Det finns inte så mycket man behöver säga när man kliver genom dörren och det öppnar upp sig i rymliga 40 kvm. med ett litet pantry med egen spis. Dock så är det de små detaljerna som alltid bringar ner den totala trivseln. Första rummet upptäcktes en läcka i badrumstaket - inga problem, fick ett nytt rum av samma sort och inredning. Men dock där med så är det små detaljerna som avgör; en läckande badrums munstycke och AC´n har sett bättre dagar (fast den fungerade utmärkt). Trevlig, hjälpsam personal över lag. 7/10 poäng ändock anbestår jag mig ändå att ge ut.

The Royal Ivory was once a grand hotel, in the classic sense, with a vast lobby including shopping, upper class suites intended for lengthy stays and all the trappings that includes. Much of this remains, however the area has become what it is, the nana section, so a trifle seedy, and perhaps the aging of the hotel reflects this. Nevertheless, she is still a great place to stay, if this is the area you're looking for, with exceptional value for those huge rooms with king beds, kitchenette, dining area and so forth. Well worth consideration, and I for one would stay there again.

Enjoyed our time here, the room was spacious and had a flat screen so we could watch our news and tv shows in the evening. Also, they have a nice pool which is clean and of a decent size. Come in the morning though as later it’s quite packed.

I was happy with everything, we had a room with ensuite bathroom, small kitchen and minibar which was just a little peaceful haven for us. Also, satisfied with the facilities, the pool is great and cleaned regularly so I often went for a morning or late swim.
