We are hoping to return when the boardwalk opens. We wanted a weekend getaway with our toddler, and we had a wonderful time. Pete Maria was an adorable host, and our room had that charming Santa Cruz Victorian charm without sacrificing cleanliness, as well as a few usb ports. We opted for the lighthouse suite, and the queen and king beds were configured so that we could safely put our daughter to bed and spend time downstairs. Breakfast was excellent and prepared us for a busy day of digging up sand with sticks and chasing seagulls.

This place is close to steamer lane, one of the top surf locations on California's coast, especially during high swells. This location is near the famous boardwalk where I worked as a teenager operating the derby booth. This place is very calming and welcoming, especially for couples who like to be entertained. The location is close to so many famous surf spots and is close to the derby booth, as well as the boardwalk itself. The owner was polite and helpful. The room decoration was extremely clean and nice. The breakfast, which included homemade tortillas and a delicious omelet with or without meats, was more delicious. The room is so comfortable. The breakfast was even more tasteful.

The boardwalk and the wharf were both within walking distance. This is the nicest person in the world! Don't go looking for a sterile, crisp room with generic decor. Staying here is like staying at your grandmother's house. And they take care of you as grandma would. We had a great time. Breakfast was amazing. Home made tortillas! The best!

Oh my gosh, did I have a chance or something? Okay, lets just say that Ive stayed in Santa Cruz many times, and after my last visit, about 2 or 3 years ago, I promised myself that I would read the reviews first! Okay, so I looked up Boca del Cell reviews, and I was impressed by them. I had only one stay, a few days to relax and let go of my steam with no family with me. My wife told me at the last minute to take my daughter and the dog from them. I had no issues with that. I was mistaken for a reason. They not only took my little kenjinator, but they also took his little doggy heart. He was in doggy cruz heaven. The amenities were wonderful, and the rooms were extremely little and very familyy! Breakfast was served every morning! Fresh, freshly cut potatoes, diced and seasoned. Fresh, delicious yogurt and fresh fruit. fresh coffee with a variety of sweeteners. Outside on the patio, they had around ten tables scattered about. There was a spacious wooden front table, where I had a computer with free wifi. The bird and the two adorable canines were all very entertaining. Peter collects flags from every country that visits, and of course, philippines and usa were displayed, as well as Mexico. The location is excellent, walking distance to the beach, lighthouse path, and boardwalk. Plus, the owners were so helpful and friendly and would talk a little bit about the area. The homemade breakfast was also amazing. The house pet was also a fun part of the visit.
