Staff was very nice and helpful, very respectful and nice. The outside of the building where I stayed was very dirty and nasty. It needs cleaning it looked like an abandoned building when going up the stairs, but once I got in to the room I was glad it was the opposite. Very clean.

The front desk employees were very hospitable and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing wrong was with the TV volume it was on low and you couldn't turn it up. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The check-in process took a while. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants. In the nearby casinos, there are many eateries. And then, the cleanliness of our room was fantastic. After that, the elevator broke, and we were forced to climb several stairs to carry our luggage. Subsequently, the bathroom faucet was constantly leaking, there were holes in the wall, and the plastic bed cushion that crinkled as you moved. After that, they did not pay a $100 deposit, and when the room weighed 51 dollars. In the nearby casino, there are many food options.

My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Reno Downtown was decent overall. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite, though not particularly warm. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities, but it felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small for my liking. One of the highlights was the location—very convenient and close to Reno downtown. However, the noise from the street could be heard at night, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. Breakfast had a good variety, but the quality was just average. The dining area was a bit small, and service was ok. The Wi-Fi was free but inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a decent stay—nothing exceptional, but also nothing major to complain about. It’s a good choice for a short trip if you’re not looking for anything too fancy. ⭐⭐⭐/5
