This is a great hotel option if you would like to stay within a walkable distance to the Grant Park area or the Bean. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the area as well.

This hotel is situated downtown near the Loop in the jewelry district/row. Ideally located at reasonable cost to explore the city of Chicago (why pay higher near the river!?) Everyone was friendly and helpful, only minor thing was 1 room cleaning service over 4 days and certain supplies were not refilled. Will definitely stay at The Silversmith next visit to Chicago

Great location, in downtown Chicago, close to shopping, in the Loop, and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. Even the Riverwalk was only with 10-minutes away. The staff was great and the room was spacious.

The room was delightful -- 12 foot ceilings and plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom was sizeable and the shower was spacious. The bedding was comfortable. The only downside was being over the loop, which added a bit of Chicago noise to our stay. Great value!
