It was amazing for me and my husband to have a good time and it has a wonderful view from the balcony and the receptionist lady I believe her name is Liza she was a very nice lady and the best part of my vacation.

This is a unique gem in the alle hotel. Although an old building with charming touches such as hardwood floors in all the rooms, it is also modern and equipped with a lot of power outlets. The deck is a lovely feature with stunning views of the empire state building and the world trade center. Very comfortable. Lots of drawer and work space.

I would undoubtedly return. This hotel was wonderful to me. I had a lovely corner view room that overlooked allen street and could see the E.S.B. in the distance. Due to the varied reviews, I was initially worried, but I was pleasantly astonished. The area directly in front of the alley is not very attractive, but behind it are hip lanes and numerous places to eat and drink. The bathroom was spotless and spacious, and the bed was quite cozy. The fact that they serve a very simple breakfast of cereal called cofeetoast cereal is an added bonus. Basic but enough to start the day. This did not bother me because I knew there was no daily cleaning.

The hotel was fantastic, but the service from the customer was what really made my experience great. Before I got here at 11 am, liza welcomed me with the greatest smile and a cheerful attitude. She was always alert and ready to help, even when it wasnt part of her job title. Anyway, I arrived way too early for my reservations and was told I could leave my luggage, but she took my number down and called when my room was ready to check in. She recommended french toast on Sunday to Sunday which was a must! The only thing I can complain about this hotel is that the floor is full of ice. You have to go to the reception and they take it for you.
