Clean. Your average hotel. Convient walking distance from thr fisherman's wharf and other attractions. Parking can be a bit tight. I would recommend parking underground first then checking in.

Really enjoyed our stay. It's an older property but clean and close to the Wharf, shopping and dining. Staff was wonderful! Kind, helpful and very attentive. Parking a large vehicle is not easy in their garage (very limited parking above ground). We have a tall pickup and had to park underground and the clearance was literally ½ inch from the roof. I needed assistance in backing out of the garage for clearance and a staff member, Amal, stopped what he was doing and guided me through the I-beams and low hanging conduit. He was awesome! Would stay again, just drive a smaller vehicle. Ha!

Location. Location. Location. The location of this hotel is excellent. A very short walking distance from Alvarado Street and many restaurants. The staff was friendly and courteous. Daily housekeeping and free parking on site. A little noisy sometimes because of the cars in the area, but it is nothing that a pair of earplugs cannot resolve. This is my favorite place to stay in Monterey, especially for the price.
