Amazing and unique place. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful and customer oriented. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the dining room. Good Zimbabwe right next door but feels like part of it due to the architecture. Great place to vacation with family and friend, especially from outside Zimbabwe. But it can be cold, so bring warm clothing.

This place is close to the great zimbabwe, we discovered this wonderful state lodge in an african granite outcrop surrounded by great massa trees. This place has an amazing accommodation, a viewpoint, a fantastic lounge, and a fantastic restaurant. It was like arriving in the famous zimbabwe itself. The price was reasonable because we stayed for just one half-word, which made it convenient for lodging. Furthermore, a very accommodating crew assisted us. The family-friendly cottage with a room could easily accommodate all our needs. If we bring visitors to the ruins the following time, this is the spot we will remain.

We were a five-person self-guided group that spent two nights here touring great Zimbabwe, visiting neighboring towns, and exploring Lake Kyle. It is incredibly lovely because of the stunning architecture. The employees were friendly and accommodating. The accommodations were spotless, generous, and plentiful, as were the cuisine and beverages. The hotel uses generator power at other times, as is typical of much of Zimbabwe now in early 2020. Since we were out during certain times of the day, we didn't really notice. Two zimbabwe residents in our party had visited the lodge before and said that since their last visit, a year or so ago, the restaurant has definitely improved.

I intend to visit this place again with my family. During a brief trip with a small group, we stayed here for a few days. What a treasure this hotel is! Each rondavel hut, built in the natural stone setting and overlooking the great Zimbabwe Valley, is designed. The accommodations are individually arranged rondavel huts with tastefully furnished, extremely comfy beds and a designated bath and shower area. Although it wasnt raining or swimming, the amenities were excellent. The hotel personnel went above and beyond to meet our every need, whether it was to prepare meals or to find accommodations. Chimes, the manager, made a remarkable effort to locate a way to ship my beloved dress to London which I had mistakenly left behind. Thank you, chimes.
