Declaration and Power of Attorney

1. The coverage for Baggage Loss/Damage and Delay can only be purchased through www.tiket.com, m.tiket.com and tiket.com application (IOS & Android) for flight ticket reservations on the Order Form page.


2. This insurance covers domestic or international trips. For the international trip, the countries under sanction will be prohibited (Afghanistan, Republic Democratic of Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Crimea Region of Ukraine).


3. This insurance is applicable for a trip with an airplane with One-way Trip or Round-trip for either Domestic route or International route, where the trip is carried out from the origin place of departure (Indonesia) to the destination place and return to origin place of departure (Indonesia) in 1 (one) booking code.


4. This Insurance does not apply if only taking 1 (one) route from abroad to Indonesia or Round-trip commencing with departure from abroad.


5. This insurance also covers Personal Baggage Loss/Damage during the Insured's stay at the Hotel for Round-Trip.


6. Related to claim, the original claim document must be submitted to Allianz’s address after Allianz and the Insured agree to the payable amount of claim.


7. This Insurance is applicable for Indonesia Citizens (WNI) and Foreign Citizens (WNA) with the age of at least 14 (fourteen) days up to 84 (eighty four) years at the time of departure date. Foreign Citizens (WNA) that can be covered is a person who has Passport or KITAS/KITAP (Kartu Ijin Tinggal Terbatas/Tetap).


8. For Round Trip, Insurance guarantees travel from the place of origin of departure (Indonesia) to the destination and return to the place of origin of departure in 1 booking code.


9. Round Trip must be in 1 (one) booking code and the maximum gap between departing flights and return flights is 30 days.


10. The Insurance premium is non-refundable for any reason.


11. The prospective Insured must agree to the Statement and Power of Attorney related to Loss / Damage and Baggage Delay Insurance.


12. The confirmation of cover will be sent in an electronic form through email.


13. The Insurance Policy is only valid for Indonesian Citizens (Citizens) with a minimum age of 14 (fourteen) days and / or a maximum age of 84 (eighty four) years at the time of departure.


14. For children under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a family or person who has the authority to accompany the child when traveling.


15. All settlement claims will be subject to an allowance for wear, obsolescence and depreciation that is determined based on the Insurance Provider’s policy.


16. For loss or damage to personal luggage items due to the Service Provider or other party responsible:

a. Each claim for compensation must first be submitted to the Service Provider or the party responsible; and

b. Every claim submitted must have an attachment of proof of compensation received from the service provider or the party responsible and if the compensation is rejected, each claim submitted to  Insurance Provider must include written evidence of the refusal.


17. Any loss of personal luggage, personal money or Travel documents:

a. The loss of goods must be reported to the Police or the competent authority that has jurisdiction at the scene of the loss within 24 (twenty four) hours of the loss event; and

b. Must be accompanied by written documents from the authorities relating to the incident.

19. Claim submission must be submitted within 30 (thirty) days after the date of the accident or as soon as possible after the accident by the Insured along with the supporting documents or evidence to expedite the verification process. Any costs incurred in obtaining such documents or evidence are under the Insured responsibility.


20. By purchasing this Baggage Delay and or/Loss Insurance, the Users agree to the terms and conditions established by Allianz, including but not limited to Allianz decisions. 


21. The Insured must take reasonable precautions to ensure personal luggage items, personal money or Travel documents remain safe during the Trip and are not left Unattended in Public Places.
