What is Flight Disruption Protection?

Flight Disruption Protection is an insurance that protects you from any delays, schedule changes, or cancellations made by the airline.

 

By purchasing this insurance, you can get your money back in full, equal to your ticket price, and still be able to go or fly on the next flight! With easy claims and quick approvals, you'll also be automatically notified upon your delayed flight.

 

Flight Disruption Protection is only available for transactions in IDR.

T&C and Other Info About Flight Disruption Protection

  1. Flight Disruption Protection is a Travel Insurance product from PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia.
  2. Flight Disruption Protection can only be purchased through the website www.tiket.com, m.tiket.com, and the tiket.com app (iOS & Android).
  3. Flight Disruption Protection is valid for journeys using airplanes for one-way trips or Round Trips with domestic routes.
  4. This insurance does not apply if there are routes from or to international destinations.
  5. The insurer will not be responsible for any negligence by the tiket.com system.
  6. This insurance is available for all citizens with a minimum age of 3 (three) months and/or a maximum age of 80 (eighty) years at the time of departure.
  7. All forms of terms and conditions related to the product will refer to the wording of the policy.
  8. Claims can be submitted using the bank account number of the ticket purchaser or the passenger who will be flying.
  9. The insured must ensure that the bank account number submitted during the claim matches the name of the ticket purchaser or the name of the passenger flying. Any errors in inputting the bank account number are entirely the responsibility of the insured party.
  10. Ticket rebooking is not limited to the same airline, but the route, destination, and class of flight must be the same as the original ticket, excluding additional services such as extra baggage, etc.
  11. Claims are valid for only one type of claim per policy (delay, reschedule, or cancellation).
  12. For children under 18 (eighteen) years of age, proof of guardian responsibility with a family card must be provided at the time of claim or by the person authorized to accompany the child during the journey.
  13. tiket.com does not manage the premiums and only acts as an intermediary between the insured and Cermati Protect and PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia through the website or app.
  14. tiket.com has no obligations and/or responsibilities related to the purchase of insurance products by the insured.
  15. tiket.com has the right, without prior notice, to take necessary actions if any fraudulent activities are found from the Insured.
  16. Insurance premiums are non-refundable.
  17. A summary of coverage will be sent via email to the insured.
  18. The insured is a tiket.com customer who is individually listed in the policy for something covered under Flight Disruption Protection, thus having the right to receive insurance protection from potential risks that may occur.
  19. Claim reporting can be done through the Online Claim Center at m.tiket.com/insurance-claim, or for more information, you can contact WhatsApp (chat only) at 0815-8500-9500 during operational hours every day from 09:00 to 21:00, or email claims@cermati.com.
  20. Transactions are made using IDR, and transfers to foreign banks can only be made if a local bank account is available.
  21. The insured is advised to carefully read all explanations regarding guarantees and exclusions contained in the policy terms of PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia.
  22. The insured authorizes PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia to use or provide information and/or details about the insured that are available, obtained, or stored by PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia (as stated in the Coverage Request, Policy, or other documents of the Insurance Product) to submit Coverage Requests, pay claims, or serving the insured. The insured also understands that they have the right to correct or add to the information and details regarding themselves by contacting PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia.
  23. The insured grants PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia the authority to use and/or provide information and/or details regarding the insured in connection with the insured's policy based on this Coverage Request, including but not limited to information and/or details about the premium.
  24. By purchasing the Flight Disruption Protection product, the insured has read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of the Flight Disruption Protection product knowingly and without coercion from any party, including but not limited to decisions made by PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia.
