This legendary theme park is known for its mix of thrilling rides, interactive attractions, and entertaining performances that appeal to a wide age range.
Some of its most popular attractions include the adrenaline-pumping roller coaster Halilintar, the spinning Tornado ride, and the charming boat tour Istana Boneka that showcases dolls and scenery from around the globe. The best time to visit Dufan is during the dry season, which generally falls between May and September. These months offer more predictable weather and lower chances of rain, allowing you to enjoy all the outdoor rides and attractions. Visiting on weekdays is highly recommended to avoid large crowds and long queues, especially during school holidays or weekends when the park tends to be busiest. Try to arrive early in the morning right when the park opens, as this is when wait times are lowest. Conversely, avoid visiting during Indonesia’s national holidays or the rainy season (October to April), as some outdoor rides may be temporarily closed for safety reasons.
Baso A Fung
Baso A Fung is located inside Dufan and serves tasty bakso (meatball soup) with noodles or rice. It’s close to rides like Ice Age, Dufan Glow, and Istana Boneka, making it a great stop for a quick meal.

Just outside Dufan, this restaurant has a fun airplane-themed design. It serves seafood dishes like grilled fish and has a nice semi-outdoor area to relax and eat.

Jimbaran Resto is great for Balinese-style seafood, like grilled fish with sambal matah. Located near the beach, it has a peaceful vibe that feels like you’re in Bali.
Use the Express Pass
Dufan offers an Express Pass or Fast Track option for an additional fee, which lets you skip long lines at some of the most popular rides. It’s worth considering on weekends or holidays. Dufan Fast Track is a special service that allows visitors to access some popular rides at Dufan without having to queue. By using Dufan Fast Track, visitors can directly enjoy 14 favourite rides through a special lane.
Bring Essentials
Pack sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle, and a poncho or umbrella in case of rain. The weather in Jakarta can be hot and unpredictable.
Dress Comfortably
Wear breathable clothes and comfortable walking shoes, as you’ll be spending a lot of time on your feet. A waterproof bag is useful for water rides like Niagara-Gara or Arung Jeram.
